Happy Thursday!
In 5 minutes, you'll be learning about the following:
Meta wants every brand using AI to make ads by 2026.
Turn any YouTube, podcast, or Zoom into SEO blog post instantly.
Three hard truths about ads and what we actually do that drives results.
How one Shark Tank pitch turned a Shopify brand into a multimillion-dollar business.
The best campaign of the year had no brief, no budget, and no business being that good.
Upload a Product. Set a Goal. Let Meta’s AI Do the Rest.
Meta is overhauling its ad platform with a bold vision: by 2026, businesses will no longer need to build ad campaigns manually. Instead, brands will enter a goal (like “drive sales”), upload a product image or link, and Meta’s AI will generate the ad copy, visuals, targeting, budget allocation, and performance optimization- automatically. This “goal-only” system relies on tools like AI Sandbox (for generative creative), Meta Lattice (for targeting based on trillions of signals), and Advantage+ (for fully automated bidding and delivery). Meta’s bet? That automation can unlock better ROAS while lowering the barrier for SMBs.
This could be huge for solo founders and lean teams - removing the need for ad agencies or deep platform expertise to run high-performance campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
This week, we’re playing with Blogify, an AI tool that turns any long-form content like YouTube videos, podcast interviews, or Zoom recordings - into polished, SEO-ready blog posts. Think of it as your content repurposing engine. Drop in a video, and it spits out a formatted post, headline, tags, even LinkedIn snippets. For Shopify brands, this is gold: you can turn a product demo or founder AMA into a full blog post in minutes - no copywriting, no editing, no friction.
How RAGÚ Turned a 1970s Recipe and a Twitch Streamer Into Their Best Organic Campaign of the Year
When a Twitch streamer named Luxie posted about a vintage RAGÚ recipe tin she bought on eBay, she didn’t tag the brand for clout or criticism—she was just curious. Inside the tin? A recipe for carrot cake that called for ¾ cup of RAGÚ spaghetti sauce. Naturally, the internet noticed. It was weird, fascinating, and kind of gross - all the ingredients for going viral.
Most brands would either ignore it or try to spin it into a trend. But RAGÚ did something smarter.
Their social team quietly bought the same retro tin on eBay. They messaged Luxie directly - not to co-opt her moment, but to thank her. Then they found a bakery in her city that could replicate the bizarre cake and had it delivered to her door. She filmed herself trying it (spoiler: it was better than hers), posted follow-ups across TikTok and Instagram, and praised RAGÚ for leaning in without trying too hard.
The total cost? Just $221.20. The result? 100,000+ organic impressions, 100% positive sentiment, and one of RAGÚ’s highest-performing posts of the year. It even sparked a new content series around retro recipes that’s outperforming their typical social content.
The takeaway here isn’t just “be reactive on social.” It’s about recognizing small sparks of interest and responding with humanity and humor. For Shopify brands, this is gold: you don’t need a budget to break through - just attention, taste, and timing. RAGÚ didn’t try to manufacture a moment. They noticed one, then made it meaningful.
This week - Are you failing to make ads that scale?
Your ads aren’t broken. Your system is.
Most brands think the secret to paid success is a killer hook, a sharper CTA, or the latest TikTok trend.
It’s not.
At Neat™ (our sweat-proof shirt brand), we’ve built a system to test ad creative that actually scales customer acquisition - not just impressions.
What does that include?
Data-driven creative briefs
Customer-backed ad copy
Ad testing that runs like clockwork
Real-time feedback tied to sales
This week, we launched our wildest test yet: “Battle of the Sexes.” 👕💥👗
It’s men vs. women. Dad bods vs. TikTok core. Basically: What’s more scroll-stopping - a 20-something influencer babe or your Uncle Greg doing a selfie?
(Spoiler: Uncle Greg is crushing.)
As we scale ad spend, we scale testing. More data. More insights. Fewer guesses. That’s how we build - not hope.
The Truth About Ads That Convert (And What You Can Steal)
You’ve launched ads with high hopes… and watched them tank. Low clicks. Fewer conversions. Zero traction.
Was it the creative? The offer? The targeting?
We’ve asked the same questions - and after testing across dozens of Shopify DTC brands, we’ve learned what actually works (and what definitely doesn’t).
This session is all signal, no fluff. We’ll share the hard truths behind why most ads fail - and break down the creative strategies that consistently convert.
Real examples. Honest insights. And ideas you can steal for your next launch.
